minds of concern ist ein Netzkunstwerk aus dem Jahr 2002. Seit 2016 befindet sich das Werk in der
Sammlung des HEK (Haus der elektronischen Künste) in Basel. Das Werk nutzt die Shockwave Flash Technologie für interaktive Animationen. Seit 2021 können Webbrowser Flash nicht mehr rendern. minds of concern wird deshalb in einer Browseremulation gezeigt, die dem Softwarekontext von 2002 entspricht und zudem für externe Links auf das Internet Archiv (
https://archive.org/) zugreift. Da Browseremulationen für mobile Geräte nicht geeignet sind, stellen wir auch die Variante ohne Browseremulation zur Verfügung. Bei dieser Variante funktioniert die Webseite normal mit Ausnahme der Flash-Emulation, der Popupfenster und der externen Links.

minds of concern is a work of Net Art dating from 2002. Since 2016, it is part of the
collection of HEK (House of Electronic Arts) in Basel. The work is based on Shockwave Flash technology for the interactive animation. Since 2021, web browsers can no longer render Flash. minds of concern is therefore shown in a browser emulation that corresponds to the software context of 2002 and accesses the Internet Archive (
https://archive.org/) for external links. Since browser emulations are not suitable for mobile devices, we also provide the variant without browser emulation. In this variant, the website behaves normally except for the Flash emulation, the pop-up windows, and the external links.
